And the chaps had fun… And they weren`t the only ones. FEEDER pre-eminently proved to be a live band. This time the band choose for the companion in sequencers and samples instead of a second guitar and it appeared to be a big success. Strangely enough the band played at the end of the show a lot of (heavy) songs from "Polythene" (their first full record). The band however started with three songs from the new record "Echo Park". The fact that both singles (`Buck Rogers` and `Seven Days In The Sun`) were amongst them proved that FEEDER is full of confidence at the moment. Other great songs from "Yesterday Went Too Soon" like `Insomnia` and title track, ballad, "Yesterday Went Too Soon" followed quickly in the set. FEEDER wanted to rock heavily and in the end they did. The raw power, the noticeable pleasure on stage and the great performed - well written - pop/rock songs make you wonder why a band like this still has to play in the small hall of the Melkweg… Earlier that evening DRESS surprised with their line-up with drums, guitar and keyboard. The band played guitar driven alternative pop. A pity though that they couldn`t keep your attention focused on their whole show. Sometimes their - mostly guitar - explosions woke you up, but it faded quickly after that again. DRESS is surely a band with possibilities for the future.
