Twelve Tribes
There was a big crowd in front of the venue. This off course was to be expected when you look at the line-up for tonight`s show. When we walked in Twelve Tribes had already started playing their metalcore. I only know the bands older work, which is totally different from what they apparently play nowadays. Right away you could see that the audience didn`t come for Twelve Tribes. The band had a hard time to convince the audience of their powerful music, but they lacked the enthusiasm to make this happen.

Unearth
After a few beers and some meetings with several tour managers for our Unearth interview, it was time for Unearth to warm up the crowd, and believe me they did. From the first until the last note these guys gave a 100%. This really reflected on the crowd who were headbanging, moshing and showing their horns during the set. Unearth made a great impression with a setlist that contained a good mix of old and new songs. Though the sound wasn`t that good, especially the guitars weren`t loud enough, the action on stage made this show into a big party. Great live band!!!

Hatebreed
Our interview with Unearth was scheduled during the Hatebreed show. So we unfortunately missed a lot of songs. But we did have the time to check out the first and last 15 minutes of brutality. And brutal it was with Hatebreed playing a lot of old material. After a long intro the band came out and blew their hardcore into a crowd that went wild. Hatebreed played really tight and with two guitar players Hatebreed sounds tougher than ever. The combination of old and new songs made the set pretty diverse. The band ended with playing a minute of Slayer`s `Raining Blood`, which was kind of a weird ending with the crowd expecting to hear the entire song. But once again Hatebreed showed that they still have what it takes to play a great show and entertain a big crowd. It was a good night of heavy music, heavy drinking and heavy hangovers the next morning.
