Wicked Mystic Being one of the last shows on this European tour, REZ headed for Krefeld to watch Dutch power/thrash metal band Wicked Mystic open up for Blaze and Overkill. Their 45 minute set turns out to be very impressive indeed. Mainly focussed on material from the new cd "Lithium" and with a very good sound, WM just tears up the stage. This band has become a superb professional and groovy metal machine on stage and can compete with every other band in the international scene. Whether it`s "Toxemia", "Hollow Phrase" or the "Iron Maiden" cover, WM just rules. Check them out at one of their shows later on this year and get their latest album. It`s worth it the full 200%! Blaze Then how come the show isn`t on fire? Been thinking about this question. Guess the songs just are not interesting enough. It`s all straight metal, but never really creative and exciting. Too bad. Overkill One could say that over the years Overkill has become "the AC/DC of metal". Every single show is a solid quality performance, no matter what trends or whatever in the scene. Even after so many years, listening to songs like "Hello From The Gutter" and "Elimination" is a real pleasure. Cool performance from these NYC thrashers!
