ROCKEZINE AT Wacken Open Air

Due to the limited press accreditations and the sudden illness of one of the REZ crew members, we weren’t been able to see all performances. The fact that many bands played at the same time (while there were plenty of moments that all three stages were empty) didn’t help either. Anyway, here’s our vision on Wacken Open Air 2003. Enjoy!

At Wacken Open Air 2003 the heat was an important factor. I read in the papers that 1200 people needed first aid because of the combination of sun, booze, and black clothes. Believe me, it was hot! 30 degrees Celsius at least. From the moment the sun came up the temperature started rising, and at eight o’clock in the morning people floated out of their tents in their own sweat. Better than rain and mud though. Ok, enough about the weather. Let’s discuss some bands.
