Rockezine festival review: Waldrock on Jun 21, 2003

Ah yes, my second Waldrock had come… Believe it or not, this is the first time that I was at the festival for Rockezine and what a line-up this year had! Sepultura, Madball, Type O Negative…and the incredible Iron Maiden! Pretty much all of my favourite bands played the festival this year and it’s no coincidence that it was sold out completely. It couldn’t have been any better in my honest opinion.

Arrived one day early to already enjoy the festival’s atmosphere and of course observe all the drunk and stoned metal heads that were going to visit the festival the next day. Woke up after a rough night on the camping terrain, the big day had come…Waldrock 2003 had officially begun!

Well…. after all this I can definitely say that Waldrock was one big party once again! The drinks were good, the people were nice, the atmosphere was great and the bands…oh the bands…!!! So if Waldrock next year is going to be anything like this year, I’m THERE!
