		‘The Ali Of Rock’ is your third album. In which way does it surpass the previous releases? In every way. The other albums are still very good, but we grow and develop all the time, so in 2006 we are simply better singers, players, songwriters and producers. We are very proud of the new record. It´s an album every Rock´n Roll Fan should check out!
		Where is the ‘you can’t bring us down’ spirit coming from? Did the band have that many setbacks to recover from? There has been a lot of business shit going on in the last years, all the time really...most other bands would have broken up over that. Not us! We always come back stronger! Details are boring, the only thing that matters is: We are back and better than ever!!! :-)
		I absolutely love the album cover and the artwork. Who shot the pictures and how did you come up with the concept? THANK YOU!!! George DuBose, longtime RAMONES-photographer took that photo, for which I came up with the concept. You know, I wanted a band pic on the cover, but not just the band standing and staring. I wanted the band to “act”, plus I thought it would be cool to get beaten the shit out of from my drummer and business partner in the studio... ;-) The picture came out exactly as I had imagined it. We are very proud, George DuBose is a LEGEND!
		Most tracks are written by one or two of the band members. Could you describe the writing process within the band? The song begins at home on the couch, and then it comes to life in the studio. In between ideas are being thrown back and forth, but the vision is always quite clear after five minutes on the couch with an acoustic guitar.
		Where can we see the new video of the single ‘My Evil Girlfriend’? Did you enjoy the recording of the video? The videoshoot was great and a lot of fun. We are extremely happy with the result. Check out myspace.com/thetraceelords for the video!
		Which of the new tracks will be stirring up the fan base the most? I hope and guess it will be “Mr. Marple”: This song is very new for us in the way it came out. It has some dark, sinister and yet very funny lyrics and is great to sing along to. It´s my favorite song on the album.
		If you had 100.000 euro to spare for The Traceelords, where would you spend it on? Touring! We just want to play anywhere, so that´s what I would take the money for! Bus rent, flights, hotels etc.! Do you have 100.000 Euros, or why do you ask? ;-)
		The band will be touring Germany in May. Which of the upcoming gigs are you most looking forward to? Oh, all of them. Plus we are playing in Holland for the first time, in Weert (De Bosuil) on May 20. We are very excited about that! We live so close to Holland, but we somehow never made it there! Now it’s time!
		What’s the best thing you’ve read about The Traceelords and what’s the biggest bullocks? The best thing was that we are Germany´s hottest band who can really save Rock´n Roll! I just love that. The worst I forgot immediately. Why waste brain space on negative shit?
		How much fun and how important is it to do these kind of interviews? A lot! That was a lie! No, it´s actually pretty interesting, I can work and watch porn at the same time!!!! That was a lie, too! Or was it? :-)
		What is the most embarrassing album you own and why did you buy it? Thank God for EBAY, so I don´t own any emberassing albums anymore! Plus: I do not buy emberassing albums. How do I know? I got a good pair of ears, so I check them out before buying them! Oh, wait...there is an old AEROBIC record...but I guess it´s my Mom´s...at least that´s what I hope!!!
