		Could you introduce Mörser and yourself to the rest of the world? Hi, I`m Denny, one of the vocalists of Mörser. There are Graby the second vocalist, Sven and Matze the bass players, Dennis and Sven the guitar players, and Andre the drummer in Mörser. Mörser exist since 1995 when we started with 4 vocalists and only one guitar. Due to different reasons there were some line-up changing’s over the years and we have been together with the above described line-up now for two years.
		Can you try to describe the kind of music that you play? I would say we make a mixture of metal, grindcore, hardcore and whatever you like to add. To put our music in just one genre drawer isn’t possible. Listen to it, make your own decision. If you like it, great. If not, okay. Personally I quit discussing the music style one likes years ago, that’s not important for me to have a good time with you. Besides there are some nice descriptions of our music like for example "uncompromising weed metal" or "pure fucked up war music". What I like about them is the fact that the descriptions is aimed on the impression of the whole sound.
		Why did is there such a big delay for this release? There are different reasons for the delay. One is of course that after releasing SCUM 4 years ago we didn’t manage to kick our asses. Then the there was a time where we didn’t know what will happen with Mörser. Björn finished his studies as is also a father. That was the reason why we did new songs, but the vocals and the lyrics weren’t existing. Björn did these jobs mainly in the last years. Then the decision was made that Björn quits the band and Graby and I had to do the lyrics and the vocals. This fact definitely was time-consuming. The next fact was that the ChromeSaintMagnus guys quit there label and we had to look for a new one. We got to know Garden of Exile 2 years ago and we took aim at PURE. We did the recordings for PURE in September/ October 2005, but then the next reason appeared. Sascha had some personally reasons to shift the release of the Comic/CD, kind of a burn out. In may we decided to release the songs without the comic. But we didn’t like the idea to release just a mini-CD. Therefore Dennis, who also did the PURE recordings, re-mastered the SCUM songs and we put them together with the new songs on one CD. To keep the connection to the Comic Sascha did the Artwork for the CD.
		Are you satisfied the way the record at this moment? Yes, we are. But we recorded the songs a year ago and in the meantime we worked on new songs and these songs are now slightly more in the style of the songs on the first LP. Definitely again faster then the PURE songs. So the PURE songs are kind of old songs for us and the satisfaction we get by the release is the fact that we now can focus on the new songs and the third album which will hopefully be ready next year.
		What’s the best part and what’s the worst part of the album? For us the best part of the album itself is that it is released. As I described above, we want to concentrate on the new songs. One good part of the album are the re-mastered SCUM songs. And of course the bonus material on the CD will hopefully be interesting to everybody. Regarding to the music I think the bass solo part in "His Life, His Death" is a good part. And worse parts? I don’t know what you mean with worse parts!
		What are the expectations for this release? The exception is to get back to Mörser´s world domination. That’s all!
It’s like having a party		How is playing in a band with 7 people? It’s like having a party when everybody is in a good mood. But of course you have ups and downs over the time concerning the motivation and the work on new songs for example. And to organize a band with 7 members is pretty much more complicated than a band with 3 people.
		Can you describe the creative process of making this album? (How did the songs get written, arranged, produced, the lyrics, who does what in the band?) Hm, that’s a bit complicated, because of some of the reasons that lead to the delay of the album. But I’ll try it. Usually it goes like this, some one has an idea for a new song, he presents it in the practice room and then everybody is working on it together. The process of writing the songs for PURE differed because of the long time between the first idea and the recordings. The songs were rearranged much more often than usually. Parts were added or canceled. The next LP should come hopefully in next year’s summer. Therefore we don’t have the time to rearrange the songs that often. The recordings also differ, because Dennis did the recordings and the production.
		How do you promote the album and the band? We will play shows as much as we will be able to. Here we come back the fact that we are 7 band members. You have to keep in mind the time table of 7 people and the older we get the more appointments/dates we have in our calendar. And the more we forget! That might sound like an excuse, but it isn’t.
		What is the most embarrassing album in your own private album collection. (How/why did you get it?) It is an LP of SGM called aggression. I think I heard it just once! I bought it by mailorder because of the description of the music style. So, this is a good example for listen to the music before buying it. I never had disappointment like that again.
