In which way does your new album surpass the previous releases?
Our new stuff is more varied than the last time without leaving our path of style.
We also spend much time for the vocals because we wanted some very hooky lines this time.
You can say that this record sounds more like Reckless Tide than it´s predecessor.
And of course we will go on to improve our sound in the future.

Which of the new track will be stirring up the fan base the most?
“Corrupted” is definitely one of the songs which received many enthusiastic reactions until now.
By the way this one can be checked out at our myspace-site.
“Kleemähendeäbte” , our fun-track, seems to be the wich will divide the listeners into two categories.“Yeah, we love it” or “No, we hate it”.haha.
We will find out soon wich of our tracks will work perfectly on stage.Our release party showed us that our new songs are a very good addition to our older material.It makes fun.

| | | The new album got raving reviews but still there must be something you’d have liked to see different.
Of course there are things where you are not completely satisfied with.
Doing recordings in your own studio brings you advantages as well as disadvantages.
You need to have much discipline to end everything In your time schedule.
If you do it the first time, it´s clear that this don´t work.
Every day you learn some things about the recording or songwriting which you want to improve the next time. But the path we want to go has become much clearer now.
We are very self-critical and don´t want to make the same mistakes again.
Good points will be enhanced.

| | | How do you manage to get the noses of the members of the band into the same direction?
Well, we have very different people in the band and sometimes it is not that easy that all members agree with a decision, but we all love thrash metal and know which way we have to go to get a great result. We write the songs we like. There is only this way.

2007 is going to be the year of Reckless Tide because ... We try to thrash as many stages as we can.
I wouldn’t want to be in any other band because ... We are a great team and play the music we love.
It’s my ultimate goal to ... Tour with the band and explore the whole world.

| When did you first pick up a guitar. Who inspired you to play music?
I started playing with the age of 16.To that time it was only a instrument for me. I did not have any special musicians who interested me.
On my 19th birthday I received my first e-guitar and after that I received my first stage experiences.

Which guitar player are you most influenced by?
I cannot name a person. It´s the general influence of the bay-area-thrash-sound which influenced me. I like the kind of rhythm most and the dark melody-lines of course. These were the points

In your opinion, how has the band developed through years?
We started as a rehearsal band and we are on our way to become a good live band.
Every time we enter a studio we recognize our development in our band.
But it is still a long way to go for us to reach our final goal.

| | | What is your most memorable moment being in Reckless Tide?
For sure our first gig at the wacken-open-air 2005. It was very great to play that festival, where you go to every year to see your heroes and have a party.

It´s a very entertaining thrash-album which kiss enormous ass.
