This live album by the metalatinos Laberinto of their Big Band show on March 16, 2000 in the Amsterdam "Melkweg" gives a good idea of the music that Laberinto makes (like you didn`t know already). A wonderful mix of metal and Southamerican music styles like Salsa. Most times a band releases a live album to conclude a certain period and in this case that`s not different. This is the last album for the Mascot-Provogue label, the new Laberinto album (to be released on November 2, 2000) will be released by the band themselves and distributed by Suburban.

More and more bands go this way (release the album themselves, get a distributing company to get it in the stores) and it`s no wonder because bands hardly see any money from the record companies. Back to the music: the album sounds OK, well recorded and produced by Oliver Philips and Mochus (Ancient Rites, Liar of Golgota!!!) and extra musicians like a Latino horn section and keyboards. In short, if you don`t already have Laberinto music at home: get this one. If you already have all their albums: why not this one.
