Back in the nineties pop/rock band Ivory Tower had trouble keeping their line up together, therefore original members Johnny Jace and Mark Regula decided to change the band into a project. Red Hot is an EP, released by Guerrilla Records. The first song, "My Name" was previously released on the same label. The track is heavily influenced by Supertramp, to heavily in my opinion. | |
There are three more songs on the disc, of which "Gotcha" is the most original. A positive side of the EP is the production, done by two band members. Both the sound and the mix are very clear. Nevertheless one must say that the band’s potential in the early eighties won’t bring them the success they are aiming for now. The songs are simply too out-dated. (Geert) |
