And here it is, another band that claims to be the future of electronic music. It is nice to recall that so many promising acts take note from bands that are way older than I am. And although the German (?) band Human Decay are presented as another electro-act, there is a certain point on which makes this duo stand out of the grey majority.
The electro-based elements on this album are mixed with influences from early industrial acts as Skinny Puppy or Frontline Assembly. | |
Yet the band refreshed these with a dose of gentle techno and manages to combine these two factors giving it a sort of experimental electro-noise feel.
Okay, almost 70 minutes of music is of course way too long but songs like "Drive-Live" (tip!) or "Body of Knowledge" (Prodigy?) certainly show the dancefloor`s should get ready for this duo. A fine debut album.
