You may have seen the name Seamiew Records being mentioned a few times in my Mindstab and Gazzoleen reviews. A while ago this Dutch label released their first sampler with unreleased songs from their current bands: Dreadlock Pussy, Gazzoleen, End Of April and Mindstab. With their roots in The Netherlands and Belgium these bands tour a lot in both countries, so enough opportunities to catch them live.

From the first album released on Seamiew (Dreadlock Pussy`s Sharp Instead) to upcoming releases (End Of April`s "If I Had A Bullet" and Dreadlock Pussy`s "Jacob`s Ladder"), Seamiew always had an ear for catchy, melodic metal bands.

Together with 4Tune Records they definitely know what’s going on in the Dutch and Belgium nu metal scene.

This sampler is a very nice introduction to Seamiew`s bands. Dreadlock Pussy pleases us with "Ever Decreasing Circles" and a stunning rare live version of "Akemi", End Of April with "Deepend" and "Words `N Wrists", Gazzoleen with "Backup" and a remix of "Jellie-Fish" and their latest signing Mindstab with "Counter Clockwise" and a demo version of "Digger". Altogether a really nice overview of the Seamiew bands so far. The sampler has a `Nice Price` sticker, so you can pick up this album for just a couple of Euros.
