Superfly 69 is a German alternative rock band from Essen, Germany. The band gained success with their debut album Sing It With A Smile, released in 2001. This album even featured the single Sacred, on the official soundtrack of the movie “Wass Nicht Passt – Wird Passend Gemacht”. With their latest release Dummy Of The Day, these German lads prove to be a solid rock band.

There are a lot of different references on the new album. The band combines all these influences in a remarkable fresh way.

Their mix of rock, punk and metal on this album is in absolute balance. Chosing Jorg Umbreit and Vincent Sorg to produce Dummy Of The Day has turned out to be a good decision. This duo managed to give all instruments a certain warmth. This is the main reason why Superfly 69 is one of the few alternative rock bands that can create a pleasant atmosphere during the entire album.
