I have decided to like this CD. This isn’t music I normally listen to, or even would like at all, but this one has enough power to convince an extreme metal head like myself. It begins with “Just…”, a stomping song in the vein of Fear Factory, with techno beats that give an extra value to this track. Next songs are intense, low tuned, noisy (distorted vocals) industrial/nu metal experiments and they turned out well. Bands to compare this with are, the aforementioned Fear Factory and maybe Meshuggah. Some parts even remind me of Napalm Death’s “Diatribe”, for example the high guitar parts in “Technology Related Anger”.

This is the perfect CD for frustrated teenagers to deal with everyday problems. The lyrics are also worth mentioning, because this band is really pissed off with the world. USA, Bush, our society as a whole, religion, fake friends, fake scenes, you name it, they hate it. I especially like the lyrics of “A Scene”. It describes exactly how narrow-minded some scenes can be, and of course how frustrating that is (‘your imitation, is limitation... Limit Nation!!!’). So Dimension Seven delivers a good second CD with which they can compete in the international noise/metal league.
