Well, well, what to say about this? I really don’t know what to do with this band! For a start, I could say what kind of music they perform I guess. Spaced Out are into the prog/symfo/jazz/rock/metal/fusion music and that without vocals, so that would make it instrumental. The problem with this CD is that it seems to be difficult without reason. Most songs just go on and on, with ‘brilliant’ bass parts here, ‘ingenious’ guitar riffs there, not to mention the ‘fabulous’ drum work. As you might have noticed, I don’t like this at all.

These guys absolutely know how to play their instruments, but they forget one important thing: recognisable songs. But that’s my opinion; probably a lot of fans of this genre will eat their heart out with this product. Some extra information about this band; Spaced Out is based in Montreal, Canada and this is their third CD, all of them have been released by Unicorn records. This album was produced by the mastermind behind the band: Antoine Fafard.
