What we have here is a very brutal and extreme grind core release. This is the second album of a band that seems to put more effort in the band’s name than into the album or song titles. I even wonder if they have lyrics at all! Their debut album also had no name and no titles, though I never heard that record. They are said, and I quote from their biography, ‘to create a total personal extreme musical way’. Well that sure goes for the band’s image. The album cover shows a probably dead foetus, which is covered with maggots, and yes I know, this kind of gore-cover-art has been done before. So that is not totally original, but all the aspects of this band together make Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition at least noticeable.

Their music is very fast, groovy and down-tuned. But what makes this album different from other grind core (because that’s what this is, folks!) releases? This album is noticeable for its extreme character, the music goes on and on at almost the same pace, while still managing to hold your attention, but also that has been done many times before. These days however I don’t care so much about originality anymore, because if I did, that would make a whole lot of bands redundant… So, in terms of quality, we have a really nice piece of extreme grind core here. And I’m sure this record will find its way to the people who love this kind of music.
