This album caught my attention due the appearance of former Atari Teenage Riot-singer Hanin Elias. Of course, we all know the tragic story behind ATR, so I’ll just skip that part and go straight to the music on No Games No Fun. Hearing Hanin sing "Catpeople" is pretty shocking, knowing she’s actually singing instead of screaming (like she did in ATR). The songs on this album are written by Hanin, with help from people such as Khan, Hacke (Einstürzende Neubauten) and Philip Virus, who we know from Nic Endo`s solo-work.

There’s however one song co-written by Alec Empire ("You Suck"). This is basically the only song that stands out of the rest and mostly due to Hanin`s singing (and the lyrics), there is a link with ATR. For the rest, this album is filled with poppy melodies, some heavy guitar work ("One Of Us", "Drop Out") at times relating to Jack Off Jill. And no, that is not a compliment.
