Necrophagia is without doubt the most famous gore band that survived the 90s; members like Killjoy, Phil Anselmo and Jared Faulk will live in infamy for creating the most vile and horror`ish music for years and years. Cannibal Holocaust is just a teaser to hold the attention of the fan long enough until the release of the upcoming Necrophagia DVD (Through The Eyes Of The Dead) and contains some very special goodies. The EP kicks off with the title song, a new song and apparently `uncensored`, whatever that may mean. It is followed by two demo versions of "Burning Moon Sickness" and "It Lives In The Woods", and the previously unreleased "Baphomet Rises" (most songs from the Holocausto De La Morte album.

The last song of the EP is "Chainsaw Lust", a tribute to Euronymous. Even though those songs are pretty interesting, the most valuable part lies in the obvious progression they have made in the last three years with the addition of a new keyboardist and guitarist. For the real fans, there is a bonus extra: the (uncut) video to "Cannibal Holocaust" has also been added to the EP - if you haven`t seen the movie before, this is a good chance to see some of the most extreme parts of it! Nice EP, I can`t wait to hear new material...
