AAARRRGGGHHH, what a pure, unchained outing of aggression this is. I guess this will be one of the most aggressive and intense but on the other hand also innovative grind core releases of this year. In the best grind core tradition Nasum play songs that will not make the 30 seconds but on the other hand “Helvete” also contains ‘real’ songs of approximately 3 to 4 minutes, without sounding boring at that high speed. The fans have waited for some time now to hear from Nasum after their previous release, but one thing is certain: they will not be disappointed. Technique and intensity go hand in hand, with a big role for the guitar riffs. At moments sounding like the old Napalm Death (“We Curse You All”, “Bullshit”), at other moments sounding very updated with strange drum patterns or more innovative guitar riffs.

The hardcore/crust edge makes this release complete. People who like extreme grind like Aborted or Cock And Ball Torture should check this out, as well as the Nasum fans of course. House friend Shane Embury also played some bass parts on this release and for some additional low vocals and guitar parts they could count on the help of Jorgen Sandstrom (Entombed), Rickard Alriksson and Peter Freed. But even without their help this release would have been a jewel. AAARRRGGGHHH.
