Well, what can I say about NOFX? That they have already been on top of the punkscene for several years and now, in 2003, they have been together for 20 (!) years. These are some statistics that will make everyone quiet for a second. They will be releasing two CDs this year. This EP, “Regaining Unconsciousness”, and “War On Errorism”, a full length album (their 13th). So, NOFX are still going strong, but how are the songs, you may think. Well, as always, do not worry. They are just great. “Medio-Core” starts slowly, but becomes a typical NOFX song: cool song lines, a ska-like tune and humorous/cynical (but cool!)lyrics.

They still write songs full of criticism on the United States (Franco-un American). The best song, though, is “Hardcore 84”. A very cool Hardcore-song, fast and energic. I wish NOFX would made a record full of songs like this one! What else can I say about this EP? It is just NOFX, with their quality, do not expect changes or weird things in their music. It is just a cool hardcore/punk EP that you could not possibly waste your money on.
