If there’s one band in Holland you don’t have to tell how shit goes down, it has to be NAOP (Noisy Act Of Protest). 16 years on the go and still ranting, shoving and battering their striking punk hardcore in your face. For years NAOP have stayed true to their Motorhead/Exploited/Discharge type bulldozer heaviness. For trends and hypes are nothing but wasted on this band. One can only respect that. So like it or not, there’s no denying the quality and fierceness of this band.

Furious anthems such as “The Long Run” and “Undecided” are paint strippin’ hard; walloping guitar riffs, furious drums and full throttle singing.

All in all “Hard To Deny” shows no regret, nor does it show empathy. If you decide to listen, be assured that the consequences are yours as well. But be warned, you will end up with a black eye or a bloody nose. A small price to pay because when the 18 tracks have raged by and you’re in the corner, knocked out, there’s only one thought that will cross your mind: press play again. Screw the bruises.
