After a long break, (the band disbanded in 1997) there is a new sign of life from the German threesome Cyber Axis. After the MCD “The Prophecy”, here’s a full-length album that features some songs from that single, as well as some interesting other material. Although I am not too sure what audience this band is aiming at, it’s obvious the link to Rammstein is very quickly laid. This band can easily be described as the electro-brother of Rammstein, without sounding too much like that band. Cyber Axis do their own thing and combine the world of electro with industrial and metal; and succeed in doing so without harming the traditional sound of any of the genres.

I am not very sure what else to say about this album, because the music provided may be quite okay; the presentation of it, as well as the odd and varying influences used throughout this album aren’t exactly helping in forming a decent opinion. And knowing there’s a song on this record that’s originally performed by Kylie Minogue it’s even more difficult …
