Punk the way it is supposed to be. Loud, aggressive, fast and furious. No overproduced top 40 stuff here. The Fleshies second album proves Alternative Tentacles still know all about punk rock. Of course there’s no surprising originality on ‘The Sicilian’, although there is variety. Funny voices and tempo changes in “The Last Friday”, good old hard rock and roll in “Don’t Hate Me For The Reward” and old school punk in “Rosa”.

The only problem is the muffled sound. The only way to hear what’s really going on is by turning the treble completely up (no, it ain’t my ears. They’re not that damaged!).
