In no more than 29 minutes 14 punk songs blast through your stereo. Hailing from Santa Cruz, California; Good Riddance are one of the key players of the present punk scene. Since they started back in the late 80s, Good Riddance have released great albums such as "A Comprehensive Guide To Modern Rebellion" and "Symptoms Of A Leveling Spirit", and really settled themselves at the top of the punk scene. Just like its predecessor, "Bound By Ties Of Blood And Affection" deals with the band’s hate towards Mr. Bush. With their characteristic samples of his speeches and vocalist Russ` lyrics, Good Riddance show their critical view on their president and the present American society.

"Bound By Ties Of Blood And Affection" features the typical Good Riddance ingredients and therefore it will highly appeal to the fans. Songs like "Made To Be Broken" and "Boxing Day" are great! The only thing I sometimes miss are the catchy outbursts of their previous album. With this new release Good Riddance mostly returned to their already-settled sound. With this typical sound Good Riddance will probably never set foot on any new ground, like Cave-In did, but they can still be the Slayer of punk. So why complain?
