Yeee! We had to wait a long while (more than a year) for this to finally get released through Relapse, but FINALLY the Aussies have hit this town. For those who are not familiar with Blood Duster: shame on you! Their Yeest MCD is one of the finest pieces of psychorockmenstrualgrindporn ever unleashed upon this unsuspecting world. Follow-up St8 Outta Northcote with it`s more traditional written rock-song mentality was a disappointment for many fans, but with a big line-up change and a new album Blood Duster are back on the grind track and heavy as ever. Starting with the album cover, a scantily dressed beauty of a body with a huge CUNT tattoo, the insanity just keeps on rolling. Loaded with samples from obscure as well as famous movies (Baseketball, Boogie Nights) the songs are melded together nicely with the `theme` (stupid people) and it results in instant-classics like "BIGFATARSE", "IJUSTFINISHEDSUCKINGOFFMETALHEADSINTHEMENSURINALS", "THECORPSESONG" and many many more.

Vocals are growly yet understandable, guitars are shredding and the drums, though a bit fuzzy, pound your ears out. The production of Cunt is a lot better than Str8 Outta Northcote and very similar to Yeest - which shouldn`t be a big surprise considering Blood Duster went back to the same recording studios. My only negative comment is that the songs are a little less _chunkier_ than the Yeest classics. Still, since there are more than twice as many songs on Cunt _and_ they have an excellent rendition of "Dis-Organ-Ized" on it as a bonus track (that`s Impetigo, you ignorants!), Blood Duster is easily forgiven. Cunt is an excellent and even _swinging_ grindcore album by any means. Anyone interested in sick and bizarre stuff are a lot better off with this album than the latest piece of crap from Pungent Stench. My request for the band: why not put ALL the lyrics in the booklet instead of just a few?!?
