Two of the band members are into Polynesian Pop Art which explains the artwork. A pity the Polynesian influences are limited to the -very cool- artwork. The riff-based rock Paradise produces is pretty good but, as we put it in Dutch: “they didn’t invent the wheel”. Apart from the lack of originality there’s not much wrong with the album.

The riffs are catchy and form the basis of real songs with proper choruses and everything. The production is up to scratch as well. I just wish they’d put some of these musical influences from Polynesia into their songs. That would certainly spice things up a bit.
