Disfear is the “new” metal n` roll sensation from fuckin` Scandinavia. And at this moment this kind of music seems to do well amongst metal heads. “Misanthropic Generation” is Disfear`s fourth full-length album and up til now I had never heard from this band before. The metal n` roll on “Misanthropic Generation” is very intense, played at high speed and sounds as crusty as it is supposed to be. Over the top songs like “Misanthropic Generation”, “Never Gonna Last” or “The Horns” suit a high-speed car drive very well. | |
Open the windows; pump up the volume and go! And don’t forget the growls from mister Lindberg (At the Gates, Lock Up) that gives this release the proper vocal contribution. And now let’s hope that he also will appear live with them. The production from the Soundlab Studios (Mieszko Talarczyk, Nasum Genocide Superstars) sounds all right and fat as this music should be. This release is food for people who like the newer Entombed, Genocide Superstars, Peter Pan Speedrock or for those that miss Motörhead too much. (Teun) |
