I can be short in reviewing German Pinkostar’s album The Trick Is To Keep Breathing. It is simply one of the best debut albums of 2003. One thing which is absolutely clear is that this relatively young band sounds like a well oiled machine. The band skipped the phase of searching for a certain direction and evolving into a professional band. Their first album is very strong and already has its own sound. The Trick Is To Keep Breathing has no weak moments. | |
The listener gets treated on a large variety of strong rock songs with a wink to punk rock. I’m not giving you a description of the individual songs. Just buy this album and listen for yourself. The album has an excellent production and the artwork of the digipack is beautiful. Mark my words: ”These Germans are going to make it in Germany as well in the rest of the world.” (Geert) |
