The name is well chosen. After this album (or while the album is playing), you want to murder, you want to kill and you euh.. well you want people to die. Or at least, spread some chaos. Paganizer, a band that was founded in 1998 in Sweden are about to release their fourth album (consider them workaholics). I don’t know any of their previous albums, so I can’t compare this to other albums from the band. But what I hear on this album is brutal and at the same time catchy (swedish) death metal, like Grave or the last Acts Of Gods.
MDK is an album that will maneouvre relatively simple around in your head. The songs are short, but long enough; the album clocks at 36 minutes. Perfect for a death metal album, cause it’s a genre wich can be boring if an album lasts longer than 40 minutes. | |
2003 is a perfect death metal year (Behemoth, Zyklon, Dying Fetus, Immolation etc.) and this album can match these releases. It’s not original and it’s getting nowhere really complicated, but it’s a perfect brutal album that you can listen to every moment of the day. I recommend every death metal fan to listen to it and I guess a lot will buy the album.
What more can I say about MDK? Oh, some songs that I considered the best on this album: “Meateater”, “Crawl to the Cross” and “Dead Souls”, are a few songs that will persuade you to buy this album.
