Garage punk served straight up. Sin City Six know what it’s about. The right sound, the right riffs; it’s all there. Of course there’s absolutely nothing new or original about this kind of music nor the way this five (!) piece goes about it, but what the hell. If it rocks, it rocks. A big task for Russel Conway to replace Lee Robinson on vocals but he does the job. | |
Russel’s voice fits in with the mixture of late seventies punk and modern day garage rock. And song titles like “Bitch Street”, “Drunk Zombies” and “Moonshine Locomotive” complete the picture; modern day rock and roll that smells of beer and tobacco. (Walter) |
