“Money Talks” is a re-issued release from the legendary hardcore thrash band Cryptic Slaughter. The songs on “Money Talks” have been remastered and the artwork has been renewed with lyrics and photo material. Songs like “Set Your Own Pace”, “Too Little”, “American Heroes” or “Freedom Of Expression” bring back the old-school feel, and the sound has also improved on some points. But the real bonus is at the end when you can enjoy some fantastic garage-sounding songs from the “Stream Of Consciousness” rehearsal tape (`88).

“Money Talks” also contains some cool live recordings from Detroit and Houston both played in 1988. Here they played songs as “Just Went Black”, “Circus of Fools” and “Aggravated”. All in all a perfect compilation for fans, especially the bonus area on this disc. Although I guess most of us have this record at home, on black gold.
