This is a very varied album. It starts of with an up tempo punk pop song that reminds me a little of the Doughboys. The second song is a mid tempo rocker that could do well in an arena and the third song is an acoustic ballad. Sponge score a lot of points for guts! Most of the record is punk pop though; and pretty good as well. | |
Not the modern day Green Day and No FX hoola, but good and honest songs played with a punk rock twist. There are more ballads and mid tempo rockers as well but most of the songs are up tempo. The lyrics are personal and Vin Dombroski’s vocals are melodic. A very sympathetic album. (Walter) |
