If you have read most of my reviews, you probably know I usually don’t lower myself to writing a band totally down to the ground. My main reason for not doing this is the respect I have for anyone who at least tries to accomplish something. A purpose and the self conviction to accomplish ones goals is very admirable. But alas, today the day has come that I will totally bash Andra, for my respect for this band (or woman whatever) has run very thin to say the least.

Circle Of Fire is the worst piece of shit I have ever put into my CD-player. Right from the very first corny riff, which is as original as a cow eating grass, spitting it out, and consuming it once again, Andra manages to annoy me. This riff is slightly industrial sounding, due to the clinical production, and so is the rest of this album. Every single song features riffs that have been either done before or truly lack inspiration and power.

Things can’t get much worse from here on? Oh yes they can.

When you finally struggled through the opening riff of this album, Andra opens her mouth. Oh my goodness, her voice is terrible. It is annoying, it is out of tone and it doesn’t fit the music at all. Her voice still haunts me when I sleep.

Yet we still haven’t reached the low point of Circle Of Fire. The true anticlimax (or should I say horrifying climax?) is the cover song “I Will Survive”. Correct me if I’m wrong but this song has been covered so many times that no one is really interested in hearing another mediocre version. And what is it doing on a metal album anyway?

Sorry, but there’s really nothing good I can say about this album, avoid it like the plague is my advice. This is truly the epitome of inspirationless boring crap. The only half decent song I could discover was “La Rosa Del Amor”, maybe because I don’t understand at all what she is howling about.
