Well, this is a german band, playing a musical mix between female fronted rock like the Guano Apes (maybe even HIM) and the more gothic metal orientated bands like for instance Nightwish. Maybe this was a very smart commercial move, to follow the hype that is going on these days in gothic metal. But they sure have not succeeded in creating a musically interesting record.

For their music is not really exciting, to say the least. It just doesn’t do it for me. Why you ask? Because their music does not seem to grab my attention, not even for just one second.

Maybe they have put so much effort in creating a record that is so easy to consume, they forgot to make the music exciting and interesting. Perfect example: my little sister who listens to bands like No Doubt, Guano Apes, etc. but thinks that a band like Nightwish is too heavy likes this record very much! So liking this album is a matter of taste.

Therefor a 5, because I don’t like it at all, but for those who like aforementioned bands this might be an album they could like…
