Between the bleeps there is also music on this promo. 13 tracks of carnage. The 6th cd of death thrashers The Crown. I guess this band does not need an introduction so we can directly go to the music. And first things first: Possessed 13 is furious!

The album is separated in 3 parts. “Invitation”, “Exaltation” and “Annihilation”. The first part contains 5 songs, really fast thrashcore songs which we love, cause The Crown do know how to play them. The 5th song is a beautiful instrumental. Really amazing.

The second part “Exaltation” is a bit slower with somewhat more technical musicianship, yet still fast and furious thrasmetal, like we love to hear from The Crown.

At times there are some death metal influences (“Are You Morbid”) , but that’s nothing new.

Striking detail is that The Crown took their old singer back (Johan Lindstrand), who is screaming on the entire album as if he’s being chased by a devil with a blowtorch. He definitely adds an extra aggressive vibe to the music. They’re doing a European tour with Darkest Hour in November. Be there!!
