Modern hardcore from Japan. If there’s one country in the world where the creation of noise is seen as an artform it must be Japan. Naiad use hardcore as an inspiration and deliver it with a nice dose of friendly noise (or very loud emo). The five tracks on this MCD released by Goodlife Recordings, offer a nice introduction to Naiad.

From screamo to modest and almost acoustic interludes. From explosive to implosive; Naiad knows the tricks of the trade. The MCD’s title is therefore well chosen: Hardcore Emotion…and lots of it. A promising band.
