Decorate your room with flowers. Tattoo a smile on your face. Buy 6 litres of Red Bull. Organize a tupperwareparty, cause Madball is back. With a new EP. And I thank God on my bare knees for that. Madball is one of the best hardcore bands still around. With albums like Set It Off, Demonstrating My Style and Hold My Own, they are part of the hardcore history of the world.

There have been a few line up changes. Hoya and Freddy of course are stil in the band. They have a new drummer and guitarist: Mitts and Rigg, both formerly of Skarhead, and perhaps some people also now Rigg from Hatebreed.

Musically however, nothing changed.

And that’s a positive thing.They still make that same agressive, uncompromising hardcore as always. You can almost hear the pleasure the Madball members are having. They give you the feeling they really want to prove the world that we’re not done with madball yet. And that’s fucking right!

4 songs on this EP: “For My Enemies”, “Tight Rope” and “My Rage” are all new songs. Fantastic songs, with the same quality as on Hold My Own. The fourth song is a remake of “Pride”, only Freddy sings it in Spanish: “Para Mi Gente”.

What else can I say. Let’s wait for the full length. It will be a classic.
