As Bobby Ingram nicely says it in the bio: “We’re not here to make something better, the original versions have too much a life on their own”. I couldn’t agree more. Fortunately ‘re-recorded’ in this case means sound only. Twenty-five years of great songs gathered on one cd, all polished with the latest production possibilities. Might come in handy when you got most of their work on vinyl with too many spins on your turntable (like in my case), or when you want to get to know this great southern rock band.

Also very suitable in your car stereo, because this mix of straight ahead rockers, and beautiful ballads, really makes your travel time seem shorter. Pity this release is set too close to the great overview double live album, earlier this year.
