It’s all right to be wrong again. The Darkness showed the way for bands that don’t wanna be hip, but just want to play out-dated hard rock. Well, if they do this in the way Pump does it, it’s allowed. Influences of Whitesnake, Helix, Skid Row and Tesla, are very well mixed and performed. Mostly mid-tempo, steady rockers, sung with appealing vocals, spitting out pretty standard, yet catchy lyrics.

The guitar tandem works very well, spreading solo work reminding of the guitar heroes from back in the ‘good old days’, with a touch of Zakk Wylde at times. If you think: ”They don’t make music like this anymore”. Or when you’re pleasantly introduced to the ‘forgotten’ times of rock music by The Darkness: go for this one!
