To keep us Snapcase fans at ease, Snapcase releases `Bright Flashes . I apologize for this somewhat late review of a, for the bigger part, interesting album with a few remixes, some B-sides and covers that most of all portray the bands uniqueness. I mean, come on: If there’s one band out there that should have made it to the big league by now, it must be Snapcase.

Just check out the “Believe/Revolt” (from End Transmission) remix, with break beats nervously running behind the powerful riffs and Darryl Taberski’s gripping outbursts, it only shows what this band has in store.

A unique view on modern rock music, straying more and more away from the metalcore stylings they offered years ago but oh so fresh and original. Just check out “Blacktop”, a Helmet cover.

Yes, another band with a fresh and original approach, just like Devo and Jane’s Addiction, two other bands covered by Snapcase on this album. It basically tells the Snapcase story. Stubborn, refined, original, ground breaking. Just like the bands that inspire them.
