It really pains me to listen to this stuff. Attached to the back is a "file under heavy metal" sticker. It’s a pity there’s not a sticker with "file and do not open until 2040".

How this music can be embraced by anyone is beyond me, it’s completely un-original with every generic power metal riff/solo/speed-of-light drumming imaginable, which in my opinion burned out at the end of the eighties.

And that’s not even the worst part, (it gets worse ??), there is of course the cringe-worthy lyrics. Expect to hear a lot of the following words used: Hero, soul, wind, world/Earth, rise, strength and all other words found in various Terry Pratchett novels.

I mean, when you’re presented with this kind of lyric: "my heart is crying, every time you walk away I’m dying", what else am I supposed to do other than to skip to the next song in the faint hope that there’s some originality on the album? Add some over sung and often-accented vocals from Olaf Hayer and you find yourself struggling to listen until the end of this un-adventurous effort from the Swedish five-piece.

I still can’t understand how artists are satisfied bringing stuff like this out. Does this mean that there will be nu-metal bands emerging in 2020?? ...I weep for the future.
