"Songs to play in the night" is the subtitle of this compilation album and I know why...it is great music to fall asleep to. With a hideous albumcover Lion Music found it somehow nescesarry to release a ballad album, but why is not clear. The songs that are featured aren`t even all ballads (Baltimoore`s `Redemption` can be qualified as a semi-ballad at the least) and the difference in sound production among the songs give this album a sloppy impression.

MTM, which also is a melodic rock label does know how to properly release these kinds of albums, maybe Lion Music wanted to jump on that bandwagon, but unfortunetely for them they fell off... Oh, there are some impressive songs on this album for sure (Baltimoore, Torben Enevoldsen, Masi) but it is better to listen to the actual albums of the bands or artists to get a good impression. zzzzzzzzz.....
