AHA! This cd is back to basics! Deathwitch’s sixth cd brings the oldschool metal feeling back. Although this is my first real acquaintance with this band, it aches for more! Hyperagressive guitar assaults, violating leads (back to the early nineties!), grinding bass attacks, and a drummer who seems to be related to an ak-47. All tracks are rooted in those early days of death metal with bands like Morbid Angel and Death as inspiration. A song like ‘Total Morbid’ breaths an atmosphere the same as Skyforger’s Esat Ka Viri. While “Bitchfinder”is slow and grinding like old Gorefest. This results in a varied cd with 14 tracks, already classics in my opinion.

Lyrically it’s all about finding bitches, ****ing them and then kill them with flamethrowers, screaming “Fuck off and die!!”, using blasphemous violence, further on killing worthless scum like a death maniac. It’s just a synopsis. Yeah, I really like this cd and this band. Their underground mentality is just what the metal scene needs in these times of smooth productions and sweet metal music. I guess these guys eat gothic metal bands everyday for breakfast. And while digesting them, they create songs like these. Maybe more bands should do that.
