Funtime Productions present us a split cd with two Belgian bands, Flatcat and Five Days Off.
Flatcat starts this cd with four songs rooted in the Bad Religion tradition. These songs sound very fresh and are very promising. It’s all not that original, but they sound professional. I think that Flatcat can definitely open the hearts of fans of bands like Pennywise, No Use For A Name and the aforementioned Bad Religion. | |
Five Days Off are in the same game and are also delivering quality songs. The difference with Flatcat is that their songs are a bit faster and it’s rawer sound wise. Their songs belong together like fitting puzzle pieces. Overall this is not exactly my music, but I can imagine that fans of this genre will go crazy for these bands.
