Writing a decent review of Pink Cream 69’s latest album Thunderdome, might be considered a tough thing to do. The reason why is pretty simple; there is not that much to say about the music on this album. That is, nothing more than the fact that it sounds very familiar and not very original. This not very original music however sounds good, very good. I have no doubt that there are more interesting albums available at the moment.

I do however doubt if these so called original albums sound as good as Thunderdome. The songs on the album might sound familiar but they definitely lack any cliches. Pink Cream 69 combines fine musicianship with powerful rock vocals. This guarantees allmost one hour of fine melodic rock. Thunderdome is without a doubt the safest buys of the last couple of months. I can’t imagine melodic rock fans not liking this album.
