A tribute to the loudest band on earth, performed by their loud brothers of Torment, Holy Moses, Erosion, and many others. Twenty-three (!) Motorhead tracks played by a bunch of brothers in arms. Somewhat surprising that this track list doesn’t contain the monster classics “Ace Of Spades”, “Overkill”, or “Motorhead”. Even more surprising is that this tribute album can do without these classics.

The album, packed with very heavy bands, can still appeal to the Motorhead fan, and yet this different approach sounds interesting to say the least.

Don’t expect Peter Pan Speedrock (“Motorblock”), or Hellacopters (“Speedfreak”) type copying situations, as most bands try to stay true to their own tunings and sounds. A grunted “The Hammer” by Holy Moses, or a “Bomber” with bass and drums at half speed can therefor sound surely refreshing at times.
