Back in the eighties there was a four piece female band, good looking and sounding glam all the way. That was, however, another Vixen. Earlier, back in 1981, the nowadays famous guitarist Marty Friedman also formed a band with the name Vixen. Another similarity is that this Vixen also had a pretty looking female singer. Sometimes looks can help.

These restored demo tracks must have sounded like crap, given the fact that the restoring is called ‘technical wizardry’, in the credits.

The sound is still not great. Drums that sound like cardboard boxes mixed with sharp, starfighter sounding guitars, can cause terrible headaches. The scale racing of Friedman is already recognisable, so yes the future guitar hero shows us what he’s got at an early stage. A nice souvenir for singer Kim LaChance, remembering the good old days. In short: This one is just for die hard Friedman fans to complete their collection.
