A very roughly produced CD from this power trio. Sometimes a bit messy, but with a very honest sound. Guitarist/singer John Redfern is no wonderboy with both his voice and his strings, but it’s very convincing. Solid drums (many cymbals) by Richard Guppy, and skilled walking bass by Sarah Russell. Opening with an early-Hellacopters-like “Good time Rockin’”, and continuing with a lot of Black Sabbath, Who, MC5, and early Kiss influences, in a way it could have been played by Kyuss.

This CD is filthy and direct; maybe this should just be released on vinyl. I hope that these guys never go into a very expensive studio for a few months, but keep on doing what they do best. Pure, mean, and rough rock & roll.
