OdelD’s second studio effort shows the band has developed both in sound and songwriting. The arrangements are more complex in a production varied from full to sparse. The musicians’ other bands read like a part of stoner rock history: Goatsnake, Hermano, Fatso Jetso, Earthlings? and Wool. But OdelD is different.

Acoustic guitars, brass, piano, you name it. The atmosphere is one of dust, sun and a state of half drunkenness. Again it’s Pete Stahl’s voice that makes me feel a bit uncomfortable. It’s like he’s not really there. Apart from that a worthy successor to their promising first album. Now get on tour you guys!
