Rock reporter and New Bomb Turks ranter Eric Davidson took time off to delve in the sewers of his own record collection, gathering sixteen mostly unreleased rattling rock and roll tracks. Expect the best from US underground grease heads like Rock’n Roll Soldiers, The Cuts, The Diverters, The High Beams and Lost Kids.

Greaseball Melodrama hands you the next generation of current up-and-coming garage rock bands. This is truly a kick in the nuts for all you White Stripes fans. They didn’t invent it, they just recreated it. Same goes for all of the bands on this sampler.

Nothing new, just good times rehashed in 16 fun (garage) rock and roll tracks. So thank you MC5, thank you Stooges, thank you Rolling Stones, thank you Kinks and thank you Velvet Underground.

Overall there’s absolutely not one track on this sampler that dissapoints me. Hot damn, there’s some smoking shit going on right now. Highlights: Chargers Street Gang with “2 East”, The Cuts with “How Can I Get Through?” and Geraldine with “Can’t Afford The Seven”.

PS. Oh, don’t pay more that 8 bucks for this sampler, if you do, you’re being ripped off.
